Elementary Program
Classical Ballet Technique Levels I & II
(age 6-9)

Classical Ballet Technique is the foundation of all types of dance.  Students in the elementary levels begin to integrate basic technique into more complex patterns while technical movement and choreography vocabulary is introduced and expanded upon. At this stage, students will begin work at the barre and be able to identify the different parts of a traditional ballet class. While students continue to work on posture, flexibility and strength in static steps, transitional steps are introduced to encourage ease and fluidity in movements that lay the foundation for elegance, artistry, skill, and excellence in worship and performance.

Beginning Level classes require a minimum of an hour/week of instruction time.
