Intermediate Program
Classical Ballet Technique Level III/IV
(age 9-12 )

Students who have advanced and are placed in the Intermediate Ballet Levels have shown mastery in basic technical elements and skills and have demonstrated a commitment and desire to continue to develop in excellence and artistic expression. Students continue to expand their movement vocabulary to include balanced turns, increased flexibility and strength, and begin to work on complex combinations that work toward weight transfer with ease and fluidity.  Students in our Intermediate Program are also considered to begin to work on pointe.  It is at this age that students are evaluated for virtuosity in technique and development of strength required to dance on pointe. Students in the Intermediate classes are given more opportunities to develop through performance and worship in local venues.

Intermediate Level classes require a minimum of  3 hours/week of instruction time
